Discover the beauty and flavor of the Sonoran Desert. 

Schedule a Taste of the Desert class for your friends or club members and amaze them with the desert's edible bounty. A two-hour class includes fascinating insights about desert plants, how to harvest them and use them in recipes, hands on activities and sampling of many desert foods. Class size: Wickenburg area 10 minimum, 25 maximum; outside of Wickenburg area 20 minimum-25 maximum. Contact us for details and price.

Prickly Pear Salsa Taste Test - a favorite hands-on activity at our class.
Class participants prepared salsa from fresh and canned prickly pear nopales (pads). The jury is out on which tastes best.
